Art therapy in early childhood was the catalyst that helped her find her passion. Mackenzy's parents fostered her creativity by offering continuous support. Thanks to Creative Kids Saskatchewan, she enrolled in community art classes and Globe Theatre School at a young age.

 

Mackenzy Vida is a multidisciplinary artist from Regina, Saskatchewan on Treaty 4 and graduate of the University of Regina's Media Arts and Performance program in Visual Arts with a minor in Creative Technologies.

Although school isn't everything- having studio access, mentor support, and peers to learn along side were excellent assets for a young artist.
